EMail: Free E-mail from hotmail /google gmail. You don't have to have your own computer to have email or access AA online meetings. Many public resources now offer use of computers to access the internet. Local libraries often offer this service for free. Sometimes coffee shops, copying & duplication stores, and other public resources offer use for a fee.

Instant Message Programs: MSN, AOL, Yahoo, and ICQ all offer free instant message services.

AA Meeting Via telephone Or Video Relay Services

There is nothing new about using the phone to call other AA members in recovery.  But not all AA members are aware that the Telecommunications Relay Service enables people who are Deaf, late-deafened, hard of hearing, speech impaired, deaf-blind, and people with mobility loss to have access to phone services.  Some AA members are working to help provide groups with this information as well as teach people who are not able to attend regular face to face meetings how to coordinate and use conference calling to conduct AA meetings by phone.
